ChaU8 – Ethereum USDT & USDC Payment Monitor is a read-only Chrome extension that allows users to monitor public Ethereum addresses for official USDT and USDC balances and transfer activity.

1. Information Handled

The extension handles the following information:

• Public Ethereum wallet addresses entered by the user • Optional wallet labels entered by the user • Public ETH, USDT and USDC balances • Public blockchain transfer information, including transaction hashes, amounts, sender and recipient addresses, timestamps and block information • User-selected notification thresholds, display filters and monitoring preferences • Text explicitly selected by the user when using the “Search on ChaU8” right-click menu

The extension does not request, collect or store private keys, seed phrases, passwords, authentication cookies, credit card details or bank account credentials.

1. How Information Is Used

Public Ethereum addresses are used only to retrieve Ethereum blockchain balances and confirmed USDT and USDC transfer records.

Transaction information is used to:

• Display balances and recent transfers • Detect new matching transfers • Provide user-configured desktop notifications • Prevent duplicate notifications • Open a user-requested transaction or address report

Selected webpage text is processed only after the user actively chooses a ChaU8 right-click menu action.

1. Local Storage

Wallet addresses, optional wallet labels, filters, notification preferences and previously processed transaction identifiers are stored locally in the user's Chrome browser using chrome.storage.local.

Users can remove stored wallet information by deleting an address inside the extension or uninstalling the extension.

1. Third-Party Service

The extension sends public Ethereum wallet addresses to the Moralis API over HTTPS in order to retrieve Ethereum blockchain data.

Moralis receives the public address and returns blockchain balances and transfer records required for the extension's monitoring functionality.

The extension does not send private keys, passwords or seed phrases to Moralis.

Users should review the Moralis privacy policy for information about how Moralis processes data associated with its services.
